1. Who we are

Tarragindi Rehearsal Studios is operated by Nicholas Thomas Keogh-Peel, trading as Tarragindi Rehearsal Studios (part of Tarragindi Music Studios), Tarragindi, Brisbane QLD 4121, Australia. 2. What we collect and why

• Booking details — band name, contact name, email address, phone number, session date/time and any notes you give us. Used to create and manage your booking and to contact you about it. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Policy acceptance records — the time you accepted our terms and cancellation policy. Used to evidence agreement. Legal basis: legitimate interests and legal obligation.
• Payment status information — whether a booking is paid, the amount, refunds and a transaction reference from our payment provider. We never see or store your card details. Legal basis: performance of contract.
• Staff account details — email and password credentials for studio staff who manage bookings. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser information, basic usage logs) — used to keep the site secure, prevent fraud and fix faults. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

3. Who we share it with

• Stripe, our payment processor, to take payment for your session, issue receipts and process refunds.
• Service providers who host this site, store our booking database and send our booking emails, acting on our instructions.
• Professional advisers (accounting, legal) where necessary.
• Authorities where we are required to by law.

We never sell your personal information and we don’t use it for advertising.

4. International transfers

Some of our service providers store data outside Australia. Where that happens, we rely on providers that offer appropriate contractual protections (such as standard contractual clauses) for transferred data.

5. How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept for seven years to meet Australian tax and record-keeping requirements. Other information is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email us and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au). If you are in the UK or EEA, you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls limited to studio staff, and a database that restricts booking records to authorised accounts.

8. Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies and local browser storage needed to keep you signed in (staff) and to run the booking checkout. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Our payment provider may set its own essential cookies during checkout. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though the booking flow may stop working if you do.
